Getting a place in the school

Admissions

All young people at Hope Wood Academy have an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP). In order to access a place at the Academy, parents need to get contact the SEND Casework team at Durham Local Authority in order to discuss a consultation with the Academy.

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer places directly.

Our current planned places are 226 for students aged between 2-19 years.

Our SENDCO plays a critical role in ensuring that all of our young people receive the appropriate support as detailed through their EHCP. If you wish to discuss more about the Academy please contact Anne Marshall, Deputy Head of Academy.
